Samsung unveiled the Galaxy M12 last February, and it’s expected to announce the Galaxy M13 5G soon since the smartphone reportedly entered production in India last month.

  • Samsung Galaxy M13 5G’s back panel has three holes – the two big ones are for the cameras, and the smaller one is likely for the flash. This is surprising since the Galaxy M12’s Indian and global variants sported quad camera setups.
  • Samsung Galaxy M13 5G could feature a USB-Type C port at the bottom. It is being said that it will have a polycarbonate body.
  • The device could come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This is a budget phone, so it won’t feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
  • The leak shows that the handset will have a clean back panel, which suggests that there won’t be a fingerprint sensor at the back.
  • It features a quad rear camera setup, which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
  • For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the front, which is inside the waterdrop-style notch.
  • The Samsung Galaxy M12 is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and it sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
  • The Samsung Galaxy M12 was made available in India with a starting price of Rs 10,999, which is for the 4GB + 64GB storage option.
  • This is a 4G device. It is currently unknown whether the new version will have support for 5G. If this happens, then there are chances that the Galaxy M13 could cost more than Rs 12,000 in India.
