On Wednesday, Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G was launched in the Chinese market as the latest addition to Xiaomi’s smartphone portfolio. The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is very different from the Redmi Note 10 Pro model launched a few months ago in India. The 5G model is generated by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC and supports 67W fast charging. The 4G model is generated by the Snapdragon 732G SoC and offers 33W fast charging, in comparison. The Redmi Note 10 5G was also launched in the Chinese market along with the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, and this model is similar to the global model launched in March.

Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G price, sale

The new Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is priced at CNY 1599 (around Rs 18,200) for the storage option of 6GB RAM + 128GB, CNY 1799 (around Rs 20,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option and 1999 CNY (approx Rs 22,800) for the storage option of 8GB RAM + 256GB. It has been made available in Magic Green, Moon Soul and Star Yarn color options. The phone is in pre-order with a reduction of CNY 100 (around Rs 1,100) and from June 1, it will go on sale.

Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G specifications

The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. It has a 6.6-inch Full HD + LCD display (2400×1,080 pixels) with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sample rate, 450 nits brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is generated by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC combined with RAM of up to 8 GB. Built-in storage options go up to 256 GB.

As for the camera, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G has a variant camera configuration design than the Redmi Note 10 Pro 4G model. The 5G variant has a triple rear camera setup as different to the four rear cameras found on the 4G model. The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G has a main camera of 64-megapixel with an f/1.79 aperture and a 120-degree scope. There is a secondary rear camera of 8-megapixel with an f/2.2 aperture and a tertiary macro lens of 2-megapixel with an f/2.4 aperture. Up front, you get a selfie camera of 16-megapixel housed in a small punched-out cutout.

There is a battery of 5000mAh on board the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G with support for 67W fast charging. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 6, 3.5mm audio jack, etc. It is IP53 certified for resistance to dust and water, incorporates two JBL Audio speakers, in addition to a weight of 193 grams.
