The Realme Buds Q2 TWS earphones were teased via an event page on the company’s Indian website. This year these were launched in Pakistan in April and will soon be making their way to the Indian market. They appear to have the same design as those launched in Pakistan, but boast Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) instead of Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC). Additionally, Realme X9 was reportedly mentioned on the company’s Indian website before its official launch. While the company has yet to release a launch date, the new development suggests it could be announced soon.
There’s no launch date yet, but the event page says they’re coming soon. It also teases the design of the buds and charging case, as well as ANC support. The Realme Buds Q2 will be budget TWS headphones, as the “ANC Democratizer” slogan suggests.
Notably, the company launched Realme Buds Q2 in Pakistan at the end of April for PKR 3,999 (around Rs. 1,900). But, they did not announce the ANC, but presented the ENC instead. However, the design shown on the event page of the Indian website looks quite similar to the model launched in Pakistan. Realme may have changed some features for the Indian launch.
Additionally, known tipster Mukul Sharma shared on Twitter what he claims is an official listing from the Realme X9 website. The company has yet to announce the Realme X9 series and this purported list of websites suggests that it may be unveiled soon. Additionally, the screenshot Sharma shared also mentions three other alleged phones, Realme 9, Realme XT 3, and Realme GT 2 that he spotted on the official site earlier this month.
So far, the Realme X9 series, which will likely include the vanilla Realme X9 and the Realme X9 Pro, has been among several leaks and rumors. Last week it was announced that the Realme X9 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and could cost 2,000 CNY (around Rs 22,800) while the Pro variant could cost CNY 2,500 (around Rs 28,500). The Realme X9 Pro would have been spotted in a TENAA list with key specs and would be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC. It may feature a 6.55-inch Full HD + OLED display, a 4,400mAh or 4,500mAh battery, a 5G support and run Android 11 out of the box. It could measure 159.9 x 72.5 x 8mm and come with a curved display that supports 120Hz refresh rate.
Realme has not shared any official information about the Realme X9 series and there is also no release date yet.
