Google is changing this now. You will be able to create separate profiles so different users can get to enjoy content recommendations according to whatever they watch. Now You can manage existing accounts in Settings and then Accounts & Sign in.

Google TV may offer better support for kids’ profiles, “Create a separate space for a kid in your family with their favorite apps and content. You can manage existing accounts in Settings and then Accounts & Sign in.”

Google is now setting new standards for Android TVs. For starters, Google is forcing all Android TV devices to support the AV1 streaming codec. The reason is simple: AV1 helps deliver better and consistent streaming quality. The challenge is that AV1 requires new hardware and it’s not something that brands can push through a software update. While you can expect all new TVs to launch this year to come with the AV1 codec, older models will be missing, even Chromecast with Google TV. So if you are planning to buy a new Android based content streaming device or TV, make sure that there is the AV1 codec.
