Apple, is planning to launch a new iPad Mini. The updated iPad mini is planned to have narrower screen borders while the removal of its home button has also been tested. Apple last refreshed the iPad mini lineup in 2019 with an A12 Bionic chipset and first-gen Apple Pencil support. Unlike other models, the iPad Mini has thick bezels on the display.
In addition to the next-generation iPad Pro and iPad Mini, Apple is said to be working on a thinner version of its entry-level iPad geared toward students.
- The iPad Mini could come with a 9-inch display, which could be supplied by Samsung.
- Mini-LED screen are quite low, considering that the iPad Mini is a smaller and inexpensive Apple tablet.
- The device is expected to come with an improved chip, possibly Apple’s M1 silicon and support Touch ID embedded in the side button.
- It might also come with support for Face ID and a Lightning port.
Apple launched its MagSafe tech with the iPhone 12 series last year and it is expected to bring it to more devices this year.
